A Seal with a bigger printed bonus but fewer Charm slots than your current Seal can be a net loss, because Charms typically carry more total build value per slot than the Seal's own innate bonus.

This is listed separately as a trap because the Seal's OWN bonus is what's visible/comparable at a glance in the UI, while the opportunity cost (which specific Charm you'd have to cut) requires actively checking your current Charm loadout - an easy comparison to skip.
Never swap Seals purely by comparing their own printed bonuses; always check the resulting Charm slot count against your current build's Charm list first.
